Art Impressions arrived today! OH my! I forgot all that I had ordered from them! The penguins are so cute! And some of the Classic stamps . . .Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, and some FABU Halloween stamps.

Okay . . .off to get them up on the shelves!

More Mags

Yesterday, I received two new issues of Australian PaperCrafts, which I always enjoy perusing.

But today . . .oh my! Today was quite the treat! I received the latest issue of RubberStamp Madness and guess who's been published?? Our very own Johanna! Right there on Page 47! And I must tell you . . .she certainly did a great job using Sprinkle the Cat!

And, guess who else is in this issue?? Linda Berge! She was featured in this issue showcasing a GREAT Halloween card with Rosie's Roadshow stamps! Yep, right there on Page 51, Boo and Boo-Hoo are having a hauntingly good time!

Just wait til you see these creations! Fabulous! Just FABU!

September Stamp of the Month

Well . . .I got the flyer for the stamps that will be featured for the month of September and thought I might try something different.

Soooooo . . . I'm posting the flyer and a picture of the board here so you can have the opportunity to pre-order the stamps you want. You can click on either image to make it bigger.

Make-n-Take Monday

Okay, so here's the skinny on the mini-trade show that my sister and I attended:

I call it a mini-trade show because it was a chance to see some of the new stuff that I missed at CHA due to time constraints, etc.

But, what made it really cool was we were able to participate in Make-n-Takes all day long. It was hoot! I should've taken pictures of what my sis created . . .she made some very cute stuff! We will probably be featuring the projects in a few upcoming classes, so be sure to watch the calendar.

Of course I just couldn't resist ordering some new stuff from Magenta and My Sentiments Exactly while we were there. Oh what fun! And I brought home a few more catalogs to peruse and bring even more goodies in for you!

Sunday Stamping

My sister and I drove up to Long Beach on Sunday to attend a mini-trade show on Monday. We stayed up until 1:00 in the morning stamp-stamp-stamping.

We mostly used cards from the Die Cuts with a View Box o'Cards. I'm really hoping to receive my CHA order soon.

Eeek eeek eeek!

Those mice are here! OH dear! They are soooo cute! A lobster?!?! Who would've ever imagined?? And a weiner dog with three mice and fall leaves . . .so sweet! And, and, and . . .they are having a "Hay Day" on that hay bale with pumpkins and gourds . . .and roasting marshmallows . . .and a surprise visitor for dinner . . .a skunk?? Yikes!

Okay . . .gotta get them up on the shelves . . .

Shhhh, don't tell the boss. . .

. . . but I actually got to play with some stamps today. I was very inspired by a two of Alma's cards.

It was so nice to be able to play . . .although, I admit that I got so wrapped up in ink that I forgot to post that the Halloween cardstock from Junkitz arrived today. Oooooh this stuff is yummy! You can see it right here.

Some New Goodies

Yippee Ya-hoo! The big brown truck came by today with new images from Wordsworth and Tim Holtz. Gotta go unpack and get them up on the shelves! Sooooooooo cool!

Fall Samples

I know, I know . . .with the record breaking temperatures here in San Diego, it almost seems like it's never going to cool off . . . but, Halloween will be here before we know it, so I thought I'd post a few samples here. Even more are posted in the Gallery.

Just look look look how cute these samples are that Rosie made! Can you even stand it?? I just love her stuff!

No pictures

Okay . . .so I was supposed to post pictures of the Great Impressions board and a few other samples, but we had a class last night and I got home late . . .and I left my camera at the store. I guess I was tired.

Back to the class . . . it was DT Deb's first class. She was, in a word, amazing. Everyone had a great time and went home with a finished project. We stayed after class for a little while to discuss some other projects she is interested in teaching. Gotta tell ya . . .she's got some great stuff planned! Keep your eyes open for her stuff on the calendar.

Oh and remember in a previous post I mentioned monongram stamps from Hero Arts? Well, you can see a picture of them right here. Aren't they cool??

Lots o' Mags

Yippee! Not only did the big brown truck stop by with a box of The Stamper's Sampler Magazine, the big white truck stopped by with a box of PaperTrends Magazine! I just love new magazines . . .there is always so much inspiration in each issue . . .and each magazine is so different.

So, in between putting the new mags up on the rack, and dusting some of those very dusty shelves, I did manage to send off an order for some new mice . . .who are EVER so stinkin' cute dressed up for Halloween! Little Monica looks so sweet dressed up as a butterfly . . .

Ooooh! And I did receive the Great Impressions board (pics will be posted tonight, not only of the board but of a few other samples as well). The board is soooooo cute! Of course how could it not be? Just look at how cute those stamps are! Which brings me to: I should have the stamps by Tues., Aug. 1st. Those puppies, I think, will be going home with me. :D
