Tidbits

The Memory Box stamps arrived . . . but I didn't get the display board. Bummer. But I should have it when I return from vacation.

The Great Impressions Stamps will be here today! Remember: You will receive the Stamp of the Month at 50% off with any $25 purchase, plus a picture of the board, plus instructions to complete the projects on the board. And this month, I was able to order the cardstock used. . .which introduced me to Kaleidascope cardstock . . . which brings me to the point below . . . .

Ahem . . .and about that cardstock from My Mind's Eye . . .well, I couldn't decide which patterns to order. So, to make it easy, I ordered Wild Asparagus, Series 3 and Kaleidascope, Series 3. All of it. :D

Now, it won't be in until after I return from vacation, but I'm planning something fun for the un-veiling. I've really gotta do something about my obsession with paper.

**Reminder: I'll be on vacation the week of July 3.**

I have met so many great people over the past two years who have inspired me, made me laugh, and helped me find the best of the best to bring to you and keep prices low. I do hope that you've enjoyed the Cupboard as much as I have. Thanks again and again and again!

Speaking of Rosie . . .I've got those really cute templates on the way! And new images from Outlines . . . and more justjohanna. . .the list goes on!

Cool New Tool

So . . . I was talking to my friend Joanne at The Scrapping Cottage and she showed me this really cool paper trimmer.

Are you ready for this?? It's a guillotine style paper cutter . . .you know, the heavy duty kind? However . . .it has . . . if you're not sitting down, you might want to. . . it has . . . interchangeable DECORATIVE blades! AND it will cut 12x12 cardstock! AND, it comes with a scallop, classic and ripped blade.

Even better . . .she has it on ORDER!

Oh, I am sooooooooo going to be a proud owner of this thing!

Twinklers and Basic Grey!

Magnificent Magenta and other Babblings

Oh my friend who drives the big brown truck stopped by today. He had a lovely box from Magenta! Oh what fun some of those images are!

I've been busy all week re-arranging the shelves to make room for all the new! And, here it is, Thursday and I still don't have all the stamps back on the shelves. I'm really hoping to have everything in its place tomorrow.

Especially since that 32 lbs of yummy cardstock is due! (See Urban Couture post) Still can't wait to see that stuff live and in person!

Outlines has some new images that I really want to order . . .I even have the order form ready to go! But, it hasn't yet made it to the fax machine (sorry Deb! I promise I'll do it first thing next week). Here are a few of the new images that I'll be ordering.

Since I will be on vacation July 3rd, I'm kinda holding off on sending any more orders in. I don't want that stuff showing up while I'm gone . . .that would be tragic to come back only to find out that all the fun goodies were "returned to sender."

Yes . . . you read that correctly . . .I will be on vacation. The store will be closed the week of July 3rd and we'll re-open on Tuesday, July11. I know, I know . . . but it's a one woman show at the store (with the exception of all of the fabulous teachers and DT Members . . .and they all have j-o-b-s) and I really need some time off . . ..

Besides . . . Christmas (aaaaaackkk! I said THAT word) is just around the corner so I've gotta start preparing the store for that! (um . . .this is a hint, just so you know.)

Okay . . .off to update that website . . .

And it appears that my little "red-tag" elf has been up to mischief again! Lots of new items marked down as much as 40%!

Ooooooh goodie! The big brown truck will be bringing me 32 lbs of yummy cardstock on Friday! I simply cannot WAIT to see the new cardstock from Basic Grey!

And, I'm thinking about bringing in My Mind's Eye Cardstock as well . . .what do you think? Post a comment and let me know!

July Stamp of the Month . . .

. . .should be here by June 30th! Here's a preview of what is coming in!

Remember: With any $25.00 purchase you receive the Stamp of the Month (SOM) at 50% off PLUS a picture of the display board PLUS instructions to complete all six projects!

And, beginning with the July SOM, the company is offering the patterned paper, too! How fabu is that?!?!
(yes . . .I ordered the paper . . . it's from the Kaliedascope Collection . . .couldn't resist.)

NEWSFLASH!

Holy Canoli Batman! Did I order the Urban Couture and Oh Baby, Girl! lines from Basic Grey just in time or what?

I just finished flipping through the latest Cards Magazine . . .and guess what? The "Ultimate Card Class" article features both of those paper lines! Let me tell ya . . .there are some fabulous ideas in there!

Now I really can't wait to get that cardstock!

UPS & FedEx Today!

Yes! Not only did the big brown truck show up with lots of goodies, so did the big white truck! More on that later . . .

Before I forget, I wanted to mention a class coming up on June 28. This a class in which you will actually get to take the stamp home with you!

Okay, back to the goodies!

Today, I received 3 (count 'em THREE!) new issues of those fabu Aussie Magazines, and the latest Cards Magazine . . . oh I can't wait to curl up on the couch to flip through them!

Now onto stamps:

Here's a scan of some of the images I received today. (I scan about as well as I photograph, so I apologize if it's kinda blurry). I'm hoping you'll be able to get an idea of what they look like. The color image of the six pairs of shoes is ONE hugabundous stamp! I thought I had died and gone to Heaven when I saw that! Ahem . . .I sort have a thing for flip flop stamps. I love flip flop stamps. I don't know why . . .I just do. So, of course, if they come out with flip flop stamps, I have to have all of them . . . and those sea creatures. . .had to have them, too! Imagine little sparklies on that fish! How cute would that be??

One more thing: these are not actual size.

Yippee! Those mice (House Mouse, that is) . . . they came in as well . . .so did those big, bold sentiment stamps from Penny Black. I was busy, busy, busy checking it all in and getting them up on the shelves!

Off to update the website!

The Big Brown Truck . . .

. . .should most certainly be visiting me today! I know that at least three of my recently placed orders have shipped. Perhaps I'll have some new mice, new flip flops & sea creatures, and some really BIG and BOLD sentiment stamps.

Stay tuned . . .I'll post again tonight and let you know what has arrived!

Oh What Fun! More Classes!

I've added a few classes to the calendar on our website. And we have a NEW teacher, who is also a member of the justjohanna design team! I'm very excited to announce that her first class will be held on July 26.

In the meantime, check out this card using new Memory Box stamps!

I guess I'm definitely ready for summer! It is one of my favorite times of year. I much prefer warm weather. And I have so many wonderful summery stamps coming in! Here are a few more samples that I posted in the Gallery today. Usual disclaimer of "photography is not my forte" applies.

Urban Couture Oh Baby (Girl)!

I just couldn't resist. I just HAD to order it! It's Deb's fault. She brought in the cutest album she made using Basic Grey's Urban Couture cardstock (check out her blog to see pics) so I just had to order it . . . and while I was on the BG website, I thought, hey! why not get some of that Oh Baby! Girl collection, too. (I really love that elephant cardstock) So I did.

Here's what the collections look like:

They usually ship pretty quickly so I should have it pretty soon . . .where, exactly I'm going to put it is anybody's guess . . . but I'll figure something out.

Oh! The Beach Vellum, the Paisley Vellum, and Rosie's Roadshow are here!

Zzzoooooooommm

The past two weeks have been a flurry of activity. The time just flew right by.

On June 3rd, we had the launch party for justjohanna rubber stamps (check out the links to some of the design team's blogs). And, if I may say so myself, both the day of make-n-takes and the after hours party were a hugabundous success!

Then on the 11th, Terry Medaris came out from Arizona to teach colored pencil classes. And the classes were fabulous! His talent just amazes me!

Needless to say, since I had two very busy weekends of work, I decided to take Tues., June 13 as a personal day . . .so, the store was closed.

And with all the activities surrounding justjohanna stamps and then having Terry Medaris here, I must admit that the shelves started to get a little skinny. Oh, but now . . .I've got soooooooooooo much good stuff on the way!

Paisley Vellum, Beach Vellum, Memory Box paper and stamps, Great Impressions' July Stamp of the Month, Rosie's Roadshow, House Mouse. . .the list goes on!
